ProgDVB is a wonderful application that allows you to watch TV and listen to radio channels directly from satellite. The program is completely free, but to use it you need a DVB-PCI card with hardware decoders on the board and a SAT-dish. The application features a very simple and intuitive user interface that requires no knowledge at all.
